The Child King

I'm not one for the discipline of posting on a regular basis, but figured I'd better get this blog kick-started. I'll begin by explaining that "The Child King" is the name of a little feature film I co-produced with my brother, Frank. It's the holiday tale of two brothers who embark on a life-changing quest to find Santa Claus at the North Pole.

The film stars Peter Johnson from Scituate, Massachusetts. Peter is a special young man who became one of the few actors in cinema history with Down syndrome to star in a feature motion picture.

All of my profits from the movie support The Child King Foundation which grants money to individuals and organizations that advocate for the intellectually disabled. This year (December, 2009) we are giving out thousands of dollars in grants and that makes everyone associated with "The Child King" feel pretty darn good!
